John Fadeff: THINGS THAT FLOAT
Things In Between Other Things, 2022, © John Fadeff
Two restless shapes hit the road in search of the wide open spaces. One has been floating for too long, the other is new to the game. Along their way they encounter a procession of common flora.
The images, digital media, and mutoscopes for Things That Float were made at MuseumQuartier Wien in September 2024. The image making process employs felt, rubber, stencils, and plant fragments. The plant specimens for this project were found in and around Vienna.
